Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) are primary, portal of entry, health care professionals focused on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the spine, other parts of the musculoskeletal system, and the associated effects theses cause to the whole person. Doctors of Chiropractic are used most often seen neuromusculoskeletal complaints such as; low back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, disc herniations, disc degeneration, radiculopathy in the arms, or legs, whiplash injuries,  sacroiliac dysfunction, TMJ, and carpel tunnel syndrome just to name a few.

Today, Chiropractic is taught and practiced throughout the world. The Chiropractic profession is the third-largest physician-level independent health profession in the world. Doctors of Chiropractic are primary health care providers according to both Federal and State regulations.   Like any physician the first step the Doctor of Chiropractic will take is to make a thorough and accurate diagnosis of your complaints. Then if the doctor determines that your condition or conditions are likely to respond favorably to chiropractic care a treatment plan will be recommended.

Chiropractic an Inherently Conservative Approach to Health Care and Pain Management

Doctors of Chiropractic value the innate biologic ability of our bodies to self-regulate, heal, restore and maintain health through precisely coordinated homeostatic mechanisms, reparative processes and adaptive responses.   Dr. Uhl is a strong believer in managing spinal conditions as conservatively as possible.

The Chiropractic Perspective and Practice

The relationship between mechanical integrity--primarily of the spine and musculoskeletal system--and function--controlled and coordinated by the brain and nervous system--is central to chiropractic’s unique approach to patient care. Recent research has demonstrated what Chiropractors have known for well over 100 years. That mechanical, spinal motion segment, dysfunction (subluxation) directly affects the functioning of the brain, central nervous system, and the entire body as a whole.
